My baby Gus is gone...
 

40 minutes ago Gus started crying. Patti was petting him but I didn't think he sounded right. I picked him up and he was like a ragdoll. We took him to the ER where they said he was in cardiac arrest and they were breathing for him. 10 minutes later they said a tumor in his abdomen had ruptured and he was bleeding to death - there was nothing they could do.

He was at the vet in April and they didn't feel it. An hour ago, he was purring and happily being petted.

My dear baby. He didn't suffer at all but I will miss him so much...

sorry for you loss, I just lost one of my cats this weekend from a tumour in her stomach too.. Its a hard thing to deal with but they say time heals..:rip::cat::cat:

Here's a picture of my boy all stretched out. It was such a shock - he hadn't even been sick! I still can't believe it. Anyway, you should all see what a sweet, pretty boy he was.

I actually had a similar experience with my Peppi,he had a small lump on his tummy,my vet at the time said,it's only a fatty growth:(
Turned out,it was so much more..
