the cat is several months old. from the start she had this

problem but with time it got worse. it started on the neck but

now it's worst on ears. vet first ignored it but now he thinks

it's an autoimmune disease and started a therapy. have you ever

seen something similar? your experience? any advice?

please look at the pictures

You should bring your cat to a College of veterinary dermatology or a vet
dermatologist to next a second opinion .. It looks very painful , poor kitty .

Did the vet do any skin scrapings to look for mange mites? Is your cat bothered by the spots--do they seem itchy or sore?

No vet did no scraping. Cat doesn't look unhappy - it eats well, plays... but she does scratch it and makes an open wound that way

So it might be itching? And is it spreading? I think I'd at least have them check for mites. It could well be an autoimmune reaction, but I think I'd want to have some things ruled out before treating for an autoimmune reaction. If it's an infection or mange, treating with steroids (which are often used for AI reactions) could be harmful.
